Here is a wonderful piece of Serbiana - a vintage paperback edition of Raymond Chandler's "The High Window" found on the sidewalks of Belgrade.
The publisher Dzepna Knjiga was based in Sarajevo and this edition came out in 1964.
Even in the former Yugoslavia, "R Cendler" was entertaining readers with his tales of fallen angels, crooked cops and errant knights.
