So pleased you were able to drive part of this road - an iconic road for us here in Australia.

It is many years since I took that drive but I found it awe inspiring - giant skies and seas and blue blue blue arching overhead and crashing onto rocks -

And btw - congratulations on driving on the other side of the road!

It certainly is beautiful there. Nothing like being on the coast..anywhere, at least in my opinion :)

Thanks for the tour. I felt like I was almost along for the ride.
If you happen to see Mary please say hello to her for me as we seem to be long lost relatives on my husbands side of the family:)

Elsita :)

Billy, these photos are amazing, specially the one with the lighthouse, it looks like a painting. I think that the kids would have LOVED a ride like that and myself of course!
We miss you!
Elsi :)

Hugh Marchant

Hi William,

My name is Hugh and I work for a film production company - we are producing a documentary about the south coast of Victoria.

We are very interested in using the vintage black and white photo of the old sailing ship with people standing on the rocks at Lorne Point that accompanies the following quote, "Here is a photo of passengers who were the lucky ones - their boat got stranded in shallow waters off the coastal town of Lorne in 1908, but they survived and made it to shore."

Could you please contact me asap, even if all you can do is let me know where you sourced the image, any information would be very helpful.
