Out with the old, in with the new.
After a tearful parting with my cherry-red Mercian ten-speed racing bicycle, purchased as a teenager and clung to as an emblem of my youth through the ensuing decades, I'm happy to report that I'm on the mend and in a beautiful rebound relationship with my new comfort bike, the Masi Soulville.
Raised handlebars, a kick stand, coaster brakes, seven-speed handlebar gear shift, alloy fenders and a cool retro style make this the perfect no-carbon footprint way to commute to my new office.
I think red vintage bikes ( or at least vintage looking) are my absolute favorite. I really wish i could bike to work everyday. That would be a definite part of my dream existence. ( by the way I ordered that book at the library )

What a beaut! If you're like me, you were sold as soon as you saw the name and logo :) That bike will take you "straight ahead" very nicely and will also be much more "Beat" than "beater!"
