My daughter is a "bookie".
Yes, some parents might not take pride in that fact, but where I come from its no shame.
No, I'm not talking about some teeny tot calculating the over/under at Saratoga Springs, the Sky Masterson of the second grade, the oddest oddsmaker since Titanic Thompson.
Natalie is definitely into "making book", but in her case, she is literally into making books, and she is quite literary about it as well!
Here is her instructive primer for any of you out there inspired to join in:
So, how many books would a bookmaker make if a bookmaker could make books?
Natalie's homemade printing press is churning out new editions by the day!
Next, one of Natalie's original publications for your reading pleasure. Odds are, you're going to like it!
Enjoy!

Titanic Thompson wasn't a bookie, he was a "road gambler" and golf hustler. There's a new biography that was just published about him by Nick Cook.

Natalie is so talented, but then, she has wonderful parents to encourage her. Way to go Natalie!

I love Natalie's books so much!
It's amazing how fast she can make a little one.
One day I should make a book about her books :)
